Programs

This site offers a page on every class, accesible below from sections on each of our major program categories, not including the usually optional “Early Bird” activities. Guests are welcome to browse a full list of our classes by program or alphabetically.

prog-teamb

Our tripartite TEAM BUILDING program teaches communication, planning, confidence, and leadership through A.S.E.s (Action Socialization Exercises), participation in the challenges course, and completion of the low-ropes course.

Point House
prog-adv

ADVENTURE begins on our campus with survival training and mountain-biking, continues while canoeing on Long Pond and hiking the four Pok-O-Patch mountains, and heads into the wilderness on field rock- and ice-climbs and high-peaks backpacking.

prog-science

Among our SCIENCE classes are Sensory, and both Wildlife and Pond Ecology. The Center’s naturalist can adapt our curriculum to dovetail with those of visiting schools.

prog-history

Three LIVING HISTORY programs take place at the nearby 1812 Homestead: a tour and demonstration, as well as the Underground Railroald and TimeQuest simulations.

prog-evening

The adventures do not stop when the sun goes down: our EVENING activities include Bare Mountain hikes, nature crafts, skit nights, egg drops, as well as two history simulations.
