Ice-fishing is a veritable Adirondack tradition, and those students who choose to wake up for it seem to enjoy it even if only the lucky ones actually catch a fish. Instructors will drill holes for student groups, though students are welcome to try. Then they will distribute bait, help students set up their rods, and teach them how to correctly “jig” their lines to be most tempting to fish.
