The Center sits right on the edge of the six-million-acre Adirondack Park, which welcomes over a million visitors every year. For those looking for a greater challenge than our four Pok-O-Patch mountains, we are equipped to lead day-hikes (including summit-top lunch) on any of it mountains, 42 of which top 4000 ft. Historically, those that climb those plus four others are “ADK 46ers.” While only the hardiest mountain men could trek all of them during a typical Outdoor Education Center stay, we’re happy to get young hikers started towards this exclusive honor.
